Last Friday, September 30, several events came together at the School and Preschool Complex in Ocice: Boy’s Day was celebrated, the sports year was inaugurated, and a celebration of children’s football took place in the form of the 2nd “Stars Among Us” Football Gala. The event was carried out as part of a public task commissioned by Starostwo Bolesławiec. Nearly 200 people took part in the entire event, including tournament participants, schoolchildren and invited guests.
The participants and their supervisors received an energy-boosting snack consisting of fruit, a bar and water, as well as a commemorative medal. The teams were honored with trophies, while the best players, top scorers and goalkeepers in both age categories received commemorative statuettes for their individual achievements. In the younger age group, the title of best player went to Mateusz Karpiak (SP Ocice), Kacper Paluszczyszyn (SP Kraśnik Dolny) was named best goalkeeper, and the title of top scorer went to Gracjan Ziembikiewicz (SP Kruszyn).
In the older age group, Dawid Pędlowski (SP Ocice) was named best player, Klaudia Babiarz (SP Bożejowice) was the best goalkeeper, while Mateusz Różnicki (SP Ocice) earned the title of top scorer. In the team standings, the younger group was won decisively by the team from the School and Preschool Complex in Kruszyn, which finished just ahead of the School and Preschool Complex in Kraśnik Dolny and the School and Preschool Complex in Ocice. In the older category, the team from the School and Preschool Complex in Ocice won by a huge margin. The School and Preschool Complex in Kraśnik Dolny finished second, while the players from the School and Preschool Complex in Trzebień claimed bronze.
Thirty matches were played during the tournament, with 186 goals scored. The fun event, held in sunny weather, concluded with a group photo session. We invite you to the next edition of the Football Gala in Ocice next year!
