The project was an initiative of the Bolesławiec Cultural Center – International Ceramics Center. The seminar will be the final stage of several months of activities undertaken in cooperation with BOK-MCC, Primary School No. 4, General Secondary School No. 1, the University of the Third Age, and, above all, with the residents of the city of Bolesławiec. The activities carried out as part of the project included social research, a series of workshops with children and young people, and conversations with representatives of the worlds of culture, education and the media. Their aim was to investigate traces of the past that will lead us to a future city tailored to the needs and dreams of its residents.
We sincerely thank you for your hospitality, openness to cooperation and willingness to share the history of the city as seen through the eyes of its residents. We invite you to the project’s concluding meeting, a presentation of the research findings conducted by the research group led by Dr. Kamila Kamińska and Agnieszka Wieszaczewska of the University of Wrocław, and workshops during which we will have the opportunity to reflect together on our presence in the city.
