The 37-year-old was detained on September 24. At around 5:25 p.m., a woman called the police emergency number and informed officers that a drunk mother was caring for her 4-year-old son. At the indicated apartment, police found the woman and her 4-year-old son. The mother was completely drunk and unsteady on her feet. A test showed that she had more than 3 per mille of alcohol in her system. The child was taken to hospital for examinations.
The 37-year-old was taken into police custody. Police are currently checking whether, by caring for the child in that condition, the mother posed a threat to his life or health. The family court will be notified of the situation.
