The awards ceremony for the winners was accompanied by a lecture by Grzegorz Sidorowicz on good practices in contemporary photography, illustrated with a rich multimedia presentation. The competition, held as part of the European Heritage Days campaign, was organized by the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec and the “Camera” Photographic Association.
The competition was held in two categories: professionals and amateurs. A total of 22 people took part, 11 in each category. Participants drew a packet containing two reproductions of old postcards or photographs depicting the former appearance of buildings or places in Bolesławiec and Bolesławiec County. The jury, consisting of Anna Puk, Grzegorz Matoryn, Krzysztof Rajczakowski and Grzegorz Sidorowicz, evaluated the entries based on the accuracy of identifying the locations of the buildings and their artistic value.
