The arrest took place on September 13, at around 12:55 a.m. Officers from the Police Station in Karpacz noticed a Seat car on Żołnierska Street in Podgórzyn. The driving style of the 24-year-old man from Jelenia Góra indicated that he might be under the influence of alcohol.
The officers stopped the vehicle for a traffic check. The officers conducting the check did not smell alcohol from the 24-year-old, but the man admitted that he had smoked marijuana before getting behind the wheel. What is more, the officers found the drug on him.
The 24-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra was taken to police custody. He could face up to 3 years in prison.
