Police officers from the station in Kruszyn identified and detained a man suspected of stealing a Renault. He is a 37-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County. According to the officers’ findings, the theft took place on August 11. The perpetrator stole a Renault from one of the parking lots at a petrol station operating in Bolesławiec County. The vehicle was worth PLN 70,000. The victim was a French citizen.
After detaining the suspect, the officers also found the stolen vehicle, which is currently waiting for its owner in a police parking lot. The detained man has already been charged. He faces up to 10 years in prison for breaking into and stealing the Renault worth PLN 70,000.
