In August alone, the Legnica police received three reports related to thefts at the S3 road construction site. Officers serving in the area of the construction site noticed a mobile security intervention patrol, which reported that it had apprehended a thief.
The officers arrested a 42-year-old resident of Greater Poland Voivodeship. The suspected excavator operator used a key that opened the fuel filler cap to steal fuel from the machine entrusted to him several times (120 liters). The detainee now faces up to 10 years in prison.
