Police officers from the Prevention Department, while on duty in Legnica, stopped a 21-year-old Seat Toledo driver for inspection. The officers immediately suspected that the driver was under the influence of intoxicating substances.
The test confirmed the officers' suspicions. What is more, it turned out that the 24-year-old passenger had marijuana on him. The young man admitted to the police that he had grown the drug himself and had more of it at home.
The officers searched the residence, where they found a dried, one-metre cannabis plant capable of producing more than 360 portions of the drug. The police arrested both men. The Seat driver could face up to two years in prison, while the passenger could face up to three years.
