The play "Entliczek-Pentliczek", which will be staged next Sunday, will launch another series of theatre mornings not only for children. Actors from Teatr Jeleniogórski Scena Animacji will present poems by Jan Brzechwa that have already become classics—including the title character, "Entliczek-Pentliczek", and the well-known and much-loved "Kaczka Dziwaczka".
The adventures of the endearing little worm and the escapades of the wacky duck have entertained audiences for years and are now part of the canon of the most important Polish works for children. The organisers assure audiences that the performance will be prepared as a form of play and that every child will be able to participate.
"Entliczek-Pentliczek" will be an excellent opportunity for children to become familiar with the work of Jan Brzechwa. Their parents—and even their grandparents—certainly know it well: "Kaczka Dziwaczka" was first published in 1939.
