During the Sierpniowy Weekend operation, two road accidents and 12 collisions occurred in Bolesławiec County. During the checks, Bolesławiec police officers caught five drunk drivers and two drivers who had consumed alcohol. In addition, traffic police officers confiscated the driving licences of three drivers for significantly exceeding the speed limit in a built-up area. What is more, officers issued 259 fines for speeding and seized 16 registration certificates due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles.
