Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs out of Poland and detained a 27-year-old resident of Wrocław. The suspect was caught in Bolesławiec while packing luggage into a car and preparing to set off on a journey. It turned out that 1,500 doses of marijuana and amphetamine had been hidden in stuffed cabbage rolls
At the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office, the court ordered the temporary detention of the 27-year-old man from Wrocław, who is suspected of attempting to smuggle significant quantities of drugs abroad, for two months. The detainee could face up to 15 years in prison.
