In connection with celebrations of the feast day of the patron saint of drivers, clergy from the Bolesławiec parish of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas (the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica) and traffic police officers once again joined forces to promote road safety. On 25 July, the officers and Father Janusz carried out a joint patrol on the roads of Bolesławiec County.
The tasks were divided: the officers reminded people of the need to follow the regulations applicable to all road users, while the priest reminded them of the ethical principles drivers should remember when getting behind the wheel. Every driver received an image featuring the Decalogue accompanied by road signs and a depiction of St. Christopher, the patron saint of drivers.
