– To maintain the infrastructure already built and protect it from complete destruction, Różana Street was included in this year's budget for the installation of a wearing course together with the construction of traffic-calming ramps – says Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman. The contractor for the work is Skanska from Warsaw. The cost of the works is PLN 322,590.
The investment included, among other things, the construction of the upper, wearing course over more than 1 km of road. The work was preceded by the removal of local unevenness, including driveways to properties, and milling of the road surface near intersections to create a proper connection between surfaces. The works also included the installation of new curbs, the adjustment of exits and manholes, as well as relaying the paved sidewalk and filling in missing sections. On Friday, July 22, the City Hall carried out the acceptance of the works.
