Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters identified and detained the perpetrator of a burglary. The crime took place at one of the guesthouses in Bolesławiec.
The 21-year-old man had been a guest at the hotel for a month and, when moving out, broke into the guest room and stole an electric heater worth PLN 500.
The detainee has already been charged in the case. He pleaded guilty and explained that he sold the stolen property that same day to a random person at the town market.
The 21-year-old resident of Bolesławiec has already committed property-related offenses. He now faces up to 10 years behind bars.
