Officers from the Criminal Department of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters, as a result of their ongoing operations, arrested a young man suspected of drug-related offenses. He is a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec.
The arrest took place after police officers, conducting operational activities, determined that a substantial quantity of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances might be located in the young man's apartment. These suspicions were confirmed. As the officers approached the building, the suspect attempted to dispose of evidence of the crime by throwing a bag containing drugs out of the window.
A preliminary analysis of the substances seized showed that the bag contained marijuana and methamphetamine. In total, nearly 800 sale portions were seized. The arrested man had previously been convicted. He was taken into police custody. His further fate will now be decided by the court. He may face up to 10 years in prison.
