Police officers from the Criminal Division of Police Station I in Jelenia Góra detained a 27-year-old man suspected of intra-Community acquisition of drugs. On July 18 this year, a man reported to the police station with a parcel he had not ordered, fearing it might contain some dangerous substance.

It turned out that the parcel contained drugs—specifically, 100 sheets of LSD ordered online from Amsterdam. The postal worker had most likely mixed up the addresses.

During the investigation, police established that the addressee of the parcel was a 27-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra. The man admitted that he had purchased the drugs and paid PLN 600 for them. It also emerged that the suspect had previously made such a purchase and had offered the drug to his girlfriend.

The 27-year-old, who bought Dutch LSD online and offered it to his girlfriend, faces up to 5 years in prison. The man has already been placed under police supervision, is prohibited from leaving the country, and had to pay PLN 10,000 in bail.
