At one point, he heard the sound of breaking glass. He realized that a burglary might be taking place. He immediately called the duty officer at the Lubin police station. The officer sent a patrol from the preventive division to the scene.
At the scene, the officers noticed a broken window in the pawnshop. They went inside, where the burglar was hiding – a 19-year-old resident of Ścinawa. The man was arrested and taken to police custody. Thanks to the Lubin resident, he did not have time to steal anything.
The teenager now faces up to 10 years in prison.
