Bader began training courses in April, although only 30 people had registered with the District Employment Office. The course was originally planned for 40 unemployed people. The training costs between PLN 950 and PLN 1,000. Bader assured applicants that those who completed it would get jobs. Even if not immediately, then certainly within several months. As we learned unofficially, the fact that so few people had applied was most likely influenced by the less-than-positive reputation that this German company has in some circles.
The situation was somewhat different in the case of the Zgorzelec-based company Dozorbud, which was looking for security guards. Training was planned for 12 people, but only four applied to the Employment Office, even though Dozorbud promised residents of Bolesławiec County not only jobs but also organized transport. The course did not begin due to a lack of applicants.
The basic welding course using the MAG and TIG methods, on the other hand, is attracting considerable interest, especially since future welders can learn more than one welding method during the training. Recruitment will soon begin for warehouse worker training, including computer, cash register and forklift operation. There is no shortage of applicants, particularly because of the forklift component. However, this training is available only to people who have at least vocational education, are over 25 and have been registered with the office for no longer than two years. At least 20 places are planned. The same applies to the course for independent accountants, for which recruitment will begin in June. Although that is still a month and a half away, women are already asking about the training. The Bolesławiec District Employment Office provides detailed information.
