On Monday morning, the Laureates’ Gala was held at the “Capitol” Musical Theatre in Wrocław. The event was connected with the “Safe Senior” programme carried out by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław and the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. Our town was proudly represented at the ceremony by a student of the Construction School Complex – Patryk Potocki.
Last month, Patryk took part in the “Dear Grandma, Dearest Grandpa, Don’t Let Yourself Be Deceived” competition, organised by the police as part of the “Safe Senior” programme. The Construction School Complex student presented his own hip-hop song at the time. Patryk’s performance was very well received, which is why he was invited to the Laureates’ Gala at the “Capitol” Musical Theatre in Wrocław.
The ceremony was attended, among others, by Prof. Jan Miodek, Tercet Egzotyczny vocalist Izabel Skrybant-Dziewiątkowska and Deputy Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Ewa Mańkowska.
Patryk gave an excellent performance on the stage of Wrocław’s Musical Theatre, for which he received thunderous applause. Performing at this renowned theatre was a tremendous experience for the Construction School Complex student. It may also prove to be the beginning of a musical career, as Patryk writes and performs his own songs, something his peers have witnessed on many occasions.
During this wonderful ceremony, the student was supported by officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, Anna Kublik-Rościszewska and Beata Łuczkowska, as well as the Construction School Complex’s school counsellor, Beata Janiec.
