The incident occurred on June 3 this year at one of the guesthouses. The 25-year-old man arrived in Szklarska Poręba with two friends for tourism purposes. They rented a room at the guesthouse owned by the victim.
In the evening, the men organized a party, which was also attended by the property owner. During the festivities, an argument broke out between the guests.
The result? One of the guests, a 25-year-old man, used an aluminum chair to smash the windows, scratch the paintwork and damage the bodywork of a car belonging to the guesthouse owner. The victim estimated the losses at PLN 10,000.
Officers detained the 25-year-old. He was drunk at the time of his arrest; a test showed nearly 1.7 parts per thousand of alcohol in his blood. He may now face up to five years in prison.
