Among urban and urban-rural municipalities, Bolesławiec City took second place. The distinguished award was accepted by Secretary Jerzy Zieliński.
The ZPP ranking runs throughout the year. It assesses projects implemented by a given local-government unit and its subordinate institutions. The scoring covers areas such as:
- pro-investment and development-oriented activities
- solutions improving the quality of resident services and the functioning of local-government units
- development of the information society
- development of civil society
- strengthening office security management systems
- promotion of solutions in healthcare and social assistance
- promotion of solutions in education, culture and sport
- supporting activities for the social market economy
- promotion of eco-energy and environmental solutions
- domestic and international cooperation
- promotional activities.
