The amount allocated for purchasing the playground equipment was nearly PLN 15,000. The funds came from the city budget, specifically from the fund for preventing alcoholism. The newly created garden mini-playground includes swings (a pendulum swing and a balance swing), a cross carousel, spring riders, a slide, and fitness equipment: an elliptical trainer and a twister.
This is already the fourth family allotment garden in Bolesławiec to be equipped with playground equipment financed from the city budget. Another family allotment garden will also be equipped with such facilities this year. The idea behind providing the playground equipment is to enable children to spend their free time actively and in a more varied way while their parents and grandparents work on their allotments.
The aims also include developing a sense of aesthetics, inspiring children's imagination, and ensuring safety and joy.
Last year, the Pod Dębami Family Allotment Garden took second place in the “Bolesławiec in Flowers” competition in the category of the most beautifully flowered family allotment garden.
