The competition was attended by 72 pupils from the first- and second-year classes. The children formed nine teams of eight. They took turns completing six tasks: a relay race with hurdles and cones, timed jumps over agility ladders, successive jumps, throwing a medicine ball backwards over the head, pole vaulting and cross jumps. At each station, the teams were supervised by assistants—students from the middle school of Miejski Zespół Szkół nr 3—and looked after by their class teachers or a parent.
The results were assessed by year group. All competitors received certificates, while the winners of the third, second and first places received medals. Trophies went to the teams that achieved the highest scores among the first- and second-year classes.

First place went to class I d’s team, with 48 points
Second place: I b, 26 points
Third place: I e and I c, 19 points each

First place went to the team from II, with 48 points
Second place: II c, 43 points
Third place: II b, 34 points
Fourth place: II d, 28 points
The children were very excited by the competition’s final results, even though the event was above all about having fun. We congratulate all the competitors on their participation and achievements. Athletics is a sport in which everyone can find something for themselves.
