In the film “The Nice Guys,” private detective Holland March (Ryan Gosling) and tough, for-hire muscle Jackson Healy (Russell Crowe) do not particularly like each other. Nevertheless, they are hired to solve the same case involving a missing girl. Surely, each would pursue it on his own if they had not both become targets of hired killers. Reluctantly, they must join forces to solve the case and save their lives. Especially since they will soon discover that they have stepped into a bigger mess than they thought. The girl’s disappearance is merely the tip of the iceberg in a case that no one who values their life would touch. The story therefore becomes increasingly dramatic, but despite the danger, Holland and Jackson focus mainly on taking digs at each other.
In its second week on our screen: the excellent, adventure-filled animated film and the hilarious comedy “Brave Rooster Maniek,” as well as the Polish musical “#Wszystko gra.”
