Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, conducting operational activities, arrested a man wanted under an arrest warrant. The 33-year-old, knowing that he had been wanted for a long time, had been hiding from justice. He frequently changed his places of residence and had recently been staying outside the country. The police officers’ actions enabled them to establish his current whereabouts and arrest the man.
After his arrest, the wanted man was taken straight to a detention center.
The 33-year-old will spend at least the next two years in prison, in accordance with a court judgment, for fraud he had previously committed. In addition, police suspect that the man has also committed other crimes. It is possible that he will face further charges.
