The theft took place in Porajów. The officers returned 12 beehives, along with their bee colonies, to the owner.
The stolen beehives, worth PLN 12,000, had been hidden in various locations within the Bogatynia municipality. Officers are now thoroughly clarifying all the circumstances of the case. They are checking who was behind the theft and the hiding of the beehives.
The perpetrator could face up to 5 years in prison.
