Police community officers from the Police Station in Kowary arrested a 23-year-old resident of Mysłakowice municipality suspected of attempting to commit burglary at a store. The incident occurred on May 4, at around 4:40 a.m. Police were notified of a suspected break-in at one of the stores in Mysłakowice municipality. One of the residents was alarmed by the sound of breaking glass.
As police officers were arriving at the scene, they saw the man breaking the glass in the door and window. However, he did not get inside—he was arrested.
The burglar turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of Mysłakowice municipality. He explained that he wanted to take cigarettes and alcohol from the store.
The would-be burglar was taken to police custody. He could now face up to 10 years in prison.
