As part of preparations for the upcoming World No Tobacco Day, talks were held at schools to make children aware of the health and social consequences of smoking cigarettes.

An employee of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Station presented a “doll” smoking cigarettes, allowing students to see how much tar builds up in a smoker’s lungs.

The children solemnly pledged that they would not smoke cigarettes until they turned 18. We also remind adults not to smoke cigarettes around children.
