On Monday, May 2, for the seventh consecutive year, precisely at noon, the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland celebrations will be held in Bolesławiec Market Square. As part of the celebrations, the flag will be ceremonially raised on the flagpole, and the event will be enhanced by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.
On Tuesday, May 3, we celebrate Constitution Day on May 3.
As part of the celebrations, at 11:30 a.m., a Solemn Mass for the Homeland will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Castle Square, marking the 225th anniversary of the enactment of the May 3 Constitution, with the participation of the Honor Guard Company of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and the Bolesławiec Municipal Brass Band.
At 5:00 p.m., we invite you to the Forum Hall of BOK-MCC for the concert “Poland Has Not Yet Perished…”. The BOK-MCC workshops will perform: children from the “Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble led by Agnieszka Radwańska; the band of the “Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble, conducted by Michał Braszko; the vocal workshop led by Barbara Lendzian; the Bolesławiec Municipal Choir “Cantate Deo”, conducted by Aleksander Samostrokow; the “Bolesławiec” Municipal Brass Band, conducted by Jan Chojnacki; and the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble from the Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec, whose instructor is Anna Idkowiak. Admission to the concert is free.
