The incident occurred after 3 p.m. in the village of Stara Oleszna. A dog badly bit a child. The wound is sizeable, about the size of a hand. The injured child was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
Update
The boy was playing at the neighbours’ house with the dog owners’ children. The dog was tethered. During the play, the animal broke free and attacked the “strange” boy.
As this was an unfortunate accident that did not result from negligence on the part of the dog’s owners, they were not fined. Fortunately, the boy did not suffer any more serious injuries.
