On 19 April, officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters carried out intensified operations during which they checked whether drivers were complying with speed limits on the roads. During the operation, the officers:

  • issued 126 fines for exceeding the permitted speed
  • stopped a driver who exceeded the permitted speed by more than 50 km/h in a built-up area.

Moreover, in three cases, the matter will be decided by the court. The aim of the operation was to prevent road accidents and discipline drivers who violate traffic regulations.
