10 tonnes of milk, 15 tonnes of flour, 3.5 tonnes of cheese, 2.5 tonnes of pasta, 2.5 tonnes of groats and 2.5 tonnes of sugar will go to the poorest residents of Bolesławiec County. The food is being distributed as part of the European Food Aid Programme.
For the third consecutive year, the Towarzystwo Przyjaciół Dzieci is handling the distribution of the food. The products are issued from a warehouse located on Zwycięstwa Street, behind the clinic. Volunteers help distribute the food.
The food is distributed on the basis of documents issued by social welfare centres responsible for the person's place of residence. On Monday, food will be distributed to the poorest residents of Gmina Wiejska Bolesławiec; on Tuesday, to residents of Gmina Osiecznica; and on Wednesday, people who were unable to collect it earlier for various reasons may come to collect the food.
