On Saturday, TOP Bolesławiec volleyball players played an away match in Oława. The first set began with an unsuccessful serve by the hosts. The play remained fairly even for the rest of the set. In the closing stages, Kozłowski and Mosiądz attacked confidently, helping the Bolesławiec team win 25:22.

The hosts took control in the second set and fought fiercely for every point. With the score at 18:18, our team made two errors. The Oława players took advantage of them and did not surrender the lead, winning the second set 25:22.

The fourth set was a showcase performance by the Bolesławiec team. TOP led 8:2 at the very beginning. This allowed them to play calmly and consistently. Our middle blockers, Świerzewski and Marcinkiewicz, impressed with powerful volleyball “spikes.” The Oława players had little to say in this set. Our second setter, Marcin Czarniecki, also appeared on the court in the fourth set. The Bolesławiec player set effectively and often outwitted the opposing block. With Bolesławiec leading 20:13, there was no longer any doubt who would win the match. The final set ended 25:18, and the entire match 3:1 for TOP.

The Bolesławiec team won the away match in Oława despite being without three regular players. Illness prevented Mateusz Chmielowski, Dariusz Pierzchalski and Mateusz Kolator from appearing. The rather unfriendly chants of the home supporters also did not affect our team’s performance. TOP Bolesławiec played with: Kozłowski, Mosiądz, Potocki, Świerzewski, Marcinkiewicz, Kędziora, Biczak, Czarniecki and Wantuch.
