In July last year, we reported that Marek Łętowski was no longer the director of the Stanisław Wyspiański Youth Cultural Centre in Bolesławiec. Powiat Bolesławiecki then announced a competition for the position, but... no one applied. The facility’s previous head also no longer wanted to hold the position.
In July, we also reported that, by decision of the Powiat Board, the duties of MDK director had been entrusted to Anna Idkowiak, a teacher of folk and national dance, who also leads the “Mały Bolesławiec” Song and Dance Ensemble and the Skrzaty song and movement group.
On 4 March, another announcement of a competition for the position of MDK director appeared on the Powiat’s website.
It is now known that the new head of MDK will be Beata Domerecka. Three applications were submitted for the competition. Two did not meet the formal requirements. In a secret ballot, the competition committee selected B. Domerecka. Congratulations!
