The meeting was attended by both the residents and their caregivers, as well as employees of the II Environmental Self-Help Home. “During this period, we devote a great deal of time to conversations about Lenten and Easter traditions,” says the manager of the II ESHH Agnieszka Pisarek-Grzesiak.
The residents of the Self-Help Home also create beautiful Easter decorations, which are displayed in an exhibition. On the occasion of the approaching Easter holiday, wishes for health, joy, prosperity and wonderful moments spent with loved ones were extended by Kornel Filipowicz, deputy mayor of Bolesławiec.
It is worth recalling that the most important task of the II Environmental Self-Help Home is to maintain and develop the skills of people participating in therapeutic activities, which are essential for living as independently and with as much dignity as possible. Participants have access to a range of workshops where, under the guidance of experienced therapists, they develop their skills and gradually achieve greater independence.
