The head of the Education, Culture and Sport Committee, Łukasz Jaźwiec, spoke:
The committee, recognizing the over 50-year history of the Szare Szeregi Scout Troop in Bolesławiec, decided to submit a motion to grant it the title of Honored for Service to the City of Bolesławiec. We concluded that the activities of the troop and its individual commanders deserve this distinction, primarily for their historical and patriotic education, but also for organizing leisure activities for children and young people, as well as for their work on behalf of veterans and former soldiers of the Home Army, and for running the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity for several years.
The Council adopted the resolution unanimously.
