Operational police officers from Zgorzelec identified and detained a suspect accused of committing a shoplifting offence several days earlier at one of the supermarkets. The suspect turned out to be a 26-year-old resident of Zgorzelec.
The perpetrator stole 22 pairs of trousers worth more than PLN 2,000 in total. The Zgorzelec resident now faces up to five years in prison.
