– We have very precise data on the number of cars in Bolesławiec – the president said. – Of the cars registered by Bolesławiec residents [dane z 23 lutego – przyp. „ii”] there are 33,608, nearly 5,000 of which are trucks.
– If we add to that – Piotr Roman continued – the dozen or so thousand cars that enter our city every day, we have approximately 50,000 cars every day in Bolesławiec.
The data obtained by city officials show that there is more than one car per adult resident of Bolesławiec. – We must take all this into account. It is a small city, and a large part of it consists of green areas or areas where parking is not possible for various reasons – P. Roman added.
