Police officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec police station carried out a preventive operation entitled “Safe travel on motorways and expressways”. The officers paid particular attention to offences committed by drivers, excessive speed, failure to signal manoeuvres, improper overtaking of vehicles or stopping in prohibited places. They also checked people who failed to maintain the required distance between vehicles and those who transported passengers improperly.
The officers inspected more than 90 cars, detected nearly 80 offences—most of them exceeding the speed limit—issued 76 penalty fines and submitted 2 requests for penalties to the court.
