The arrest took place in Lubin Municipality. Officers determined that the man might be growing cannabis. After confirming that the evidence gathered in the case largely substantiated their findings, they entered the property with the support of a dog trained to detect narcotic substances.
The police were not mistaken this time either. The plants found in the suspect’s home were seized and placed in custody.
The detainee was taken to a police detention facility. Officers are currently clarifying the circumstances of the case in detail, including whether and on what scale the man was involved in distributing drugs.
The court ordered the 31-year-old to be held in temporary custody. The case is developing, and investigators do not rule out further arrests. The suspect, a resident of Lubin Municipality, faces up to 10 years in prison.
