The action of “The Spanish Fly” is set in 1930s London. The audience was transported into the atmosphere of the period by costumes designed by Tomasz Ossoliński and Dorota Goldpoint, perfectly suited to the characters, as well as Art Deco-style set design by Witold Stefaniak.

In the play, theatre director Arthur Spender is preparing a lavish revue starring Nora Wallins, a star of London musical theatres, which is consuming a huge budget. The staging ideas, unrestricted by imagination, have completely exhausted the budget allocated for producing the show. In this situation, the director asks the producer for help. The producer, however, sets a kind of ultimatum in motion, triggering a machinery of erotic misunderstandings...

Wonderful acting performances, great humour, dynamic action, extremely funny dialogue and the involvement of the audience in the action provided the spectators with fantastic entertainment.
