“I was driving toward Wrocław, to Bolesławiec. From a distance, I noticed a convoy of vehicles. I realized they were government cars. They were overtaking vehicles heading toward Katowice. As I got closer, I noticed that one of the vehicles skidded. It spun around considerably. Its rear wheels went onto the strip of greenery separating the motorway, throwing mud and stones with those wheels. The stones hit my vehicle. My windshield held up; I have a small chip. The only thing I could do was brake slightly and wait to see what would happen. I had no way to escape either to the left or to the right. There were, of course, barriers and a truck,” recounts Bolesławiec resident Paweł Teterycz.
“I did not see what happened to the presidential car afterward. The speeds were considerable. I suspected that it had either overturned or gone into a ditch. The angle at which the vehicle was positioned relative to the direction of travel was so great that, in my opinion, it was impossible to regain control of the car from the skid,” says the witness.
As a reminder, President Andrzej Duda was traveling on the A4 motorway on Friday. A tire burst on the limousine in which he was traveling. The car went into a ditch. Fortunately, no one was injured.
