On Thursday, the municipal stage of the “Pegazik” Recitation Competition was held in the hall of the Municipal Cultural and Sports Centre in Bolesławiec, based in Kruszyn. The competition was attended by 26 pupils from 8 primary schools in the Bolesławiec Rural Municipality (Bożejowice, Brzeźnik, Dąbrowa, Kraśnik Dolny, Kruszyn, Ocice, Trzebień and Żeliszów). The children reciting poems were listened to by the competition committee, consisting of Maria Sobolska and Kornel Filipowicz.
First place was awarded to Karolina Błotna from the Primary School in Brzeźnik. Second place was awarded to Adrianna Świątkowska from the Primary School in Żeliszów, Beata Cieśla from the Primary School in Brzeźnik and Michał Szemiot from the Primary School in Trzebień.
Special mentions were also awarded. They went to: Radosław Powroźnik—Primary School in Bożejowice, Sylwia Marciniak—Primary School in Żeliszów, Klaudia Ziembikiewicz—Primary School in Kruszyn, Piotr Rola—Primary School in Kruszyn, Karolina Wdowiak—Primary School in Brzeźnik, Paulina Wilczyńska—Primary School in Żeliszów, Agnieszka Żółtańska—Primary School in Bożejowice and Łukasz Durda—Primary School in Brzeźnik. The competition committee decided that the winners of first and second place would represent the Bolesławiec Rural Municipality at the district stage of the competition in Bolesławiec.
