The surveillance system has been expanded with four new camera points. The contractor responsible for expanding the existing city surveillance system is Alphatec Communication from Jelenia Góra.
The investment included, among other things, laying a fiber-optic cable network to four camera points, supplying and installing cameras, and installing a workstation and recording array at the monitoring center of the Bolesławiec Municipal Guard. The project cost PLN 200,996. The funds came from the city budget.
The expansion of the surveillance system was preceded by a new arrangement of the playground in the municipal park. It is worth recalling that the new layout created greater opportunities for using the park and led to the development of several recreation zones for all age groups. The youngest children have a “Farm” corner, as well as inclusive equipment accessible to children who use wheelchairs.
Three sports and fitness zones feature fitness equipment, equipment for seniors, and a health trail. Older children can use a rope playground, a climbing wall, and multifunctional play structures. Varied surfaces are intended to ensure safe play. The needs of those looking for a quieter corner have also been taken into account.
An additional attraction of the multigenerational playground is a set of educational boards forming part of a nature trail developed by the Bolesławiec Municipal Gmina with the support of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Wrocław. The new equipment, paths, and surfaces have been integrated into the existing trees and vegetation. Last year, a dog toilet was created in the park and new surfaces were installed on the park paths.
