Planeta Singli is the new film by the creator of the Polish cinema comedy phenomenon, the hit Letters to Santa. The heroine of Planeta Singli, Ania (), is a charming, romantic but rather insecure teacher searching for the ideal man on online dating portals. By chance, on Valentine’s evening, she meets showman Tomek (Maciej Stuhr), who hosts the most popular and controversial television programme in the country. Delighted by Ania’s irrepressible romanticism, he offers her a role as the heroine of his show: she will go on dates arranged online, while he will reveal the true face of men flirting online on his programme and mock the naivety of women searching there for their ideal partner. Ania’s crazy dating adventures quickly become a huge hit. However, one day Ania unexpectedly meets the perfect man, Antoni (Michał Czernecki). Pressured by the station’s ruthless boss (Ewa Błaszczyk), Tomek has to save the programme’s ratings. And perhaps his own feelings for Ania. Is it possible to find love on the internet?
