Janusz Radek is returning once again to the poetry of Halina Poświatowska. In a very modern, even experimental-electronic rendition, he sings and plays his compositions set to Halina Poświatowska’s texts. The artist has been drawing on Poświatowska for a long time. A volume of her poems has accompanied him in everyday life for 20 years. “Her poetry replaces the media illusion for me,” the Artist stresses.
The Artist himself assures us that it will be an exceptionally emotional evening, full on the one hand of ambiguity and subtlety, but also of the irony and contrariness for which both the poet and Janusz Radek are known.
The concert programme will include previously known songs: “Czekam wytrwale,” “Scheila” and “Kiedy U-Kochanie,” as well as new ones: “Jeśli chcesz mnie zatrzymać,” “Bez ciebie” and “W twoich doskonałych palcach.”
