The building at 10–13 Gdańska Street in Bolesławiec was constructed in 18 months. The work cost more than PLN 6,226,000. “This investment was carried out under a tenant-participation model, with a significant contribution from future tenants, who paid 30% of its value,” Emil Zając said during the ceremony Emil Zając. “But if it were not for the first brick—the City’s contribution of land worth more than PLN 218,000—this building would not have been built.”
Part of the construction was financed through bonds issued by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (PLN 3.7 million). What apartments are available in the newly opened building? There are studio apartments, two- and three-room apartments, and even nine two-level apartments. All are finished to a turnkey standard. “The tenants who signed their agreements yesterday can move in today,” the TBS president emphasised.
It is worth noting that this is the first investment by Bolesławiec’s Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego to include parking spaces in an underground garage—there are exactly 24 of them.
Importantly, E. Zając stressed, the building is modern and completely safe. It is not equipped with a gas installation, as it is heated with heat from the ZEC network. This means there is no risk of carbon monoxide poisoning or an explosion.
In addition, the new TBS development has a communal television installation, allowing tenants to use both television and the internet without having to install additional antennas on the building.
“The end crowns the work,” Piotr Roman concluded Piotr Roman. “It is worth emphasising that information we received from private developers indicates that 400 to 500 new apartments are currently being built in Bolesławiec. This is good news because it shows that people want to live here.”
The president also stressed that future tenants may become the owners of these apartments. “This is unprecedented. It is a shame that such favourable conditions are not already available. TBS launched this investment at exactly the right time,” P. Roman noted.
He added: “A model in which a citizen can become the owner of an apartment without paying the entire amount upfront, but only part of it and repaying the remainder over many years, is a model worthy of recommendation and imitation.”
