At its annual ball, the Bolesławiec Business Association presented the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award. The title went to Mirko, the company of Mirosław and Lucyna Senyszyn. The winning company received a diploma and a “Kazimierz” statuette, created by Stanisław Borowski’s studio. The statuette was funded by the Bolesławiec County Office.
During the “Entrepreneur of the Year” ball, donations were collected for a charitable cause. This year, the money will be used for the treatment of Paweł, a patient in oncology and hematology.
Mirko was established in 1992. It primarily provided domestic and international transport services. It currently has 14 transport teams, employs 48 people and has its own transport base. The company currently provides transport services throughout Europe. In October 2006, the company opened District Vehicle Inspection Station No. DBL 009. The company’s owner is a member of BTG in Bolesławiec and the Guild of Various Crafts in Bolesławiec. The company sponsors many events organized in our region and cooperates particularly closely with the Society of Friends of Children. The company plans to begin construction of a fuel station with a motel at the turn of 2007 and 2008.
