Officers were patrolling the parking lot of one of the supermarkets in the city. At one point, three men ran out of the store, followed by a security guard. When he noticed the officers, he informed them that the fleeing trio had demolished the toilet moments earlier. All the suspects, aged between 22 and 31, were detained,
The men had been drinking alcohol together, and when it ran out, they decided to go to one of the supermarkets to replenish their supply. Before doing so, they used the toilet. However, they did so in an unusual way because... they began demolishing it, damaging the flush mechanism, hand dryer and door.
They explained to the police that they had destroyed the toilet because… they had drunk too much. (All of them had approximately 3‰ alcohol in their systems).
Now, two residents of Lubin and a resident of Lubin Municipality will face court for damaging property. They face up to 5 years in prison.
