The total cost of purchasing the fire engine amounted to PLN 808,920.00. Grants were provided by:
- Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Wrocław – PLN 150,000.00
- Wrocław Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management – PLN 60,000.00
- the Lower Silesian Voivodeship self-government – PLN 75,000.00
- Gromadka Commune – PLN 523,920.00.
The Volunteer Fire Department unit maintains operational readiness not only in the Gromadka commune; it also serves communities in neighbouring communes and, importantly, operates within the National Rescue and Firefighting System. It is ready to provide assistance wherever it is dispatched.
Thanks to the firefighters’ excellent training, the unit plays a significant role in assisting victims of road accidents, including those on the A4 and A18 motorways. OSP Różyniec also protects a considerable area of forests in the Gromadka commune, including Przemkowski Landscape Park. In every crisis situation, people can count on the help of the volunteer firefighters.
